Meet Our Administrative Team

APi dhadda

SecreTary-General

Api Dhadda is a senior studying Politics and Economics at NYU’s College for Arts and Sciences. Api grew up in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, but she was born in Illinois.

She first fell in love with Model UN in 6th grade—when she attended a local conference at Bergen County Academies—and the rest, as they say, is history. She continued to pursue competitive MUN through high school, as Head Delegate, and in college, on NYU’s Travel Team.

At NYU, she began her conference journey as a chair in EmpireMUNC VIII, shoutout Arab League. Then, she served as Director of Crisis for EmpireMUNC IX. Last year, due to her passion for perfecting the committee experience, she served as Director-General of Content. Now, she is proud to serve as  Secretary-General for EmpireMUNC XI, curating the same engaging experience for current delegates that she cherished at their age, to ensure they feel inspired and empowered throughout the conference.

Outside of Model UN, Api really enjoys exploring coffee shops, painting pottery, and discovering new artists.
