Yash Kashyap (he/him/his) is a senior studying Biology, Math, and Computer Science. Having grown up between Delhi, Hong Kong, and Singapore, he appreciates the global-minded approach of Model UN, and hopefully those perspectives contribute to fruitful debate in our committees. Yash appreciates the creativity inherent in MUN, and is glad to introduce our first ever non-traditional crisis committee! His goal is to make your time at EmpireMUNC as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Outside of MUN, he enjoys drawing, apiculture, and spending time with his fostered cat Milo.

Angelina Fang (she/her/hers) is a junior studying Biology and Liberal Studies. She has been developing content for NYU MUN as AUSG of Committees as USG of JCCs, and now as DG of Content. Her favorite types of committees are niche, realistic ones and those with special mechanics. Heavily involved in both conference staff and travel team training in NYU, she makes it her goal to inject educational value into every committee design.

Teo is a junior studying Mathematics and Economics. Born in Bucharest and raised in Geneva and DC, he was always surrounded by policy matters, stimulating his interest for the United Nations and the broader political world. Teo will be serving as the USG of Crisis committees, ensuring that they run smoothly and that feedback is received and adopted. Aside from the conference, Teo is heavily involved in the Romanian community of the East Coast, enjoys Classical music, and hopes to have a positive impact on the high finance industry.

Abigail Paz is a junior studying Political Science and History. She joined Model UN in the second semester of her first year and currently serves as the team's Vice President. As a dedicated crisis delegate, she has developed a love for the fast paced and unpredictable nature of Model UN. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to oversee the JCCs and Ad Hoc committee at this conference. She looks forward to seeing the collaboration that delegates bring to the table. Outside of MUN, Abby enjoys horseback riding, antique shopping, and listening to music. She can't wait to see you at EmpireXIII!

Major Politics (CAS) Class Year 2026 Hometown Summit, NJ

Lillian Espeland joined NYU Travel Team Model UN in January of 2024, after competing in Speech and Debate (Duo, Improv, & Informative Speaking) for four years in high school. Right now, she’s deputy head delegate of the Travel Team (with Sahaana and Lochlain!), and she just finished competing at &MUN and CHOMUN. She loves interesting, wacky crises, and recently chaired EMPIREMUNC XI’s Lego Board of Directors, and NYUMUNC XVI’s SNL Writers’ Room. In her free time, Lillian enjoys watching old movies and reading.

Hi! I’m Yetta and I’m one of your USG of Delegate Affairs for EmpireMUNC XIII! I’m a senior studying History and Russian & Slavic Studies with a minor in Public Policy. I’m originally from Ohio but I love living in NYC. My favorite things are to find outdoor places to sit, study, or read or go on long walks with friends. I’m also the Secretary General of our college conference here at NYU so I’m always doing MUN it seems. I can’t wait to see you all at NYU in November!

Jeremy (Younghyun) Kim is a Sophomore studying Public Policy and Politics at NYU’s College for Arts and Sciences. They grew up in Seoul, South Korea but attended middle and high school in Bangkok, Thailand, where they were first introduced to Model UN. While their first few experiences at MUN were… questionable to say the least, they were quickly hooked by the heated debate and the chaos of it all. They quickly fell in love with the community within MUN and continued to pursue it throughout high school, as Secretary-general of THAIMUN X and in college through NYU’s Travel Team. Outside of MUN, Jeremy enjoys photography, making trips to the museum, reading, and tea.

Ishaan Batra is a sophomore studying Business, Political Economy, and Math. He joined NYUMUN to learn more about how international conflicts are discussed and solved. He enjoys having such a kind and welcoming community of team members who are always happy to hang out! His favorite MUN memory was the VICS final night sleepover. Outside of the team, he likes concerts, photography, crochet, and coffee.

Natalie is a current senior at NYU College of Arts and Science studying Economics with a minor in Spanish. She started MUN in sophomore year of highschool; competing in conferences, chairing, and finally becoming the Deputy Head of Conference her senior year. She joined NYU’s travel team in her sophomore year after spending her first year abroad in Madrid. Her favorite part so far was chairing ICJ (International Court of Justice) for the first time at our collegiate conference last semester. Besides MUN, Natalie plays basketball, and loves spending time with her friends and family trying out new restaurants/ cafes, and watching Gilmore Girls on repeat during the semester. She’s looking forward to EmpireXIII, and can’t wait to meet you all!

Tarunya is a sophomore at NYU Gallatin studying Computer Science, AI, and Public Policy on the pre-law track. She’s competed in Model UN since her sophomore year of high school, and is currently Deputy Head Delegate of NYUMUN’s travel team as well as Chief of Staff for NYUMUNC. Her favorite parts of MUN are traveling to new cities with the team, chairing committees, and meeting other dels at conferences. Outside of MUN, she loves listening to music, learning to DJ, exploring NYC, and baking/cooking!

Yuvakshi Khanna is a senior studying politics with a minor in law and society. She joined NYUMUN her freshman spring and currently serves as one of the head delegates for the travel team. One of Yuvakshi's favorite MUN memories is getting to compete in a Brenter spec committee and getting to mix crisis and ga competitively. Outside of mun, you can find yuvakshi cooking or eating (follow her beli adventures @yuvakshi), working out, painting, playing volleyball or listening to random music. She prides herself on her 1000-song playlist.

Grace (she/her/hers) is a sophomore studying Computer Science, Philosophy and Public Policy. She has been on the MUN travel team for around a year now, and she loves the MUN community. Thus, she is super excited to serve as the USG of Staff Affairs for EmpireMUNC XIII. She looks forward to seeing both the staff and delegates have a wonderful Empire weekend. Outside of MUN, Grace enjoys dancing, skateboarding and spending time with friends.  

Toa (she/her/them/theirs) is a sophomore studying Business & Political Economy alongside Journalism. She started her MUN career during her high school years in Seattle, before excitedly joining the NYU MUN team her freshman year. She is thrilled to be able to meld her love for writing and outreach alongside being able to support MUN by serving as AUSG of Communications for this years iteration of EmpireMUNC. Aside from MUN, you can find her writing for anything and everything, exploring museums, or playing trivia games!
