Interested in learning more about New York University? Delegates will have the opportunity to hear directly from an Admissions Ambassador at an NYU Info Session on Friday, before Committee.

This session will provide an introduction to NYU, including:

• NYU's global network of campuses and study-away sites

• NYU's degree-granting campuses in New York, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai

• Undergraduate admissions

• Financial aid and affordability

• Student life and the NYU experience

This will take approximately 45 minutes with an extended Q&A period, feel free to ask anything you want about admissions, student life, academics, or whatever you’re curious about at NYU!

Advisors will be sent an interest form to indicate whether their delegation (or part of their delegation) would be interested in attending. All who fill this form will be guaranteed space. We will have enough for delegations to attend day-of, even if they did not fill out the form, but seating will not be guaranteed.

If your delegation has confirmed attendance to a campus tour, this session will occur before all campus tours, but shorter and without a Q&A.

EmpireMUNC takes place across NYU’s expansive campus throughout Greenwich Village, and Delegations interested in exploring NYU’s campus can arrange an NYU Campus Tour for their time in New York.

NYU requires visitors to register for tours independent of EmpireMUNC.

Group registration is available but limited. We highly encourage interested delegations to sign up far in advance to secure a session.

Alternatively, delegates may sign up individually for tours. Individual registration allows delegates to each bring up to two guests, making this a convenient option for delegations with varied interest in these, or for delegates who wish to bring friends or members of their delegation.

We highly recommend registering as early as possible, as tour availability is limited.

Please note that NYU’s rules regarding chaperones at Group Tour Sessions can and do vary from our advisor requirements. Also note that any student or chaperone can attend, even ones not attending EmpireMUNC XIII. Please always make sure to follow NYU’s rules while on campus and to act as decent representatives of your school and of yourselves.

End the conference on a high note at our Delegate Dance, hosted after our last committee session on Saturday!

After a full weekend of debate, negotiation, speeches, and committee sessions, the Delegate Dance is your chance to step away from committee and celebrate the end of EmpireMUNC XIII with your fellow delegates. Spend time with friends, meet delegates from other committees and schools, and enjoy a more relaxed, social atmosphere as we wrap up the conference together.

We’ll have photo booths and photographers throughout the evening, giving you plenty of opportunities to capture memories from the weekend and commemorate your time at EmpireMUNC XIII.

Advisors are welcome to chaperone the event and join delegates for the evening. Alternatively, advisors may stay on campus and socialize with fellow advisors throughout the duration of the dance.

Whether you’re ready to hit the dance floor, take some photos with your delegation, or simply spend some time with the people you’ve met throughout the weekend, the Delegate Dance is the perfect way to close out EmpireMUNC XIII.
